Songkran Part 3: End of carnival parade
All of the flowers are natural, there is nearly no plastic to see. So coulourful Cha-Am can be! |
Colourful - but dangerous: A watergun Sniper shoots from his secret hideaway on the people...But this Norwegian hero detected and shoot him! |
It was really an eye candy, how the different hotels were representing themselfes. |
Many other shops and businesses also show beautiful and clourful dresses, like here the Golden Beach hotel. |
The 13th of April, the Songkran day, were not too hot, so everybody could enjoy the walk through the beach road. |
Many groups were also playing music, some of them were quite good but it was a hard condition to play and walk in the heat, and taking care of thousands of water guns! |
After the carnival parade we went to the Soi Bus Station and celebrated there in the Enjoy Bar. In the Enjoy Bar are mostly German, Swiss and Austrian people, but all of them are friendly and nice and gives other guests also a warm welcome. |
Also big boys get young again, when they hold a gun in their hands! Songkran is a lauging anarchy time. Everybody fights again everybody, but everybody has also a big smile on his face! |
The Soi Bus Station is a fantastic place to celebrate Songkran in Cha-Am. It is strongly recommended to arm yourselves with 1-3 water pistols with extra tanks! |
